On May 11, 2017, Mr. Damian Polanco, Project Manager at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), became the first member of our Construction Branch to obtain the Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credential.
Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC): CHC is a premier credential based on a sound assessment that provides distinction in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The test consists of 115 questions pertaining to the following Healthcare Engineering processes:
- Healthcare Industry Fundamentals
- Planning–Design–Construction (PDC) Process
- Healthcare Facility Safety–Additions & Renovations
- Healthcare Facility Financial Stewardship
WHY BECOME CERTIFIED? When preparing construction proposals, the CHC credential is recognized as an acceptable On–Site Supervisor certification and will assist J&J in standing out amongst our competition for supervision of procurement protocols on future proposals for our company. CHCs also enjoy the pride of recognition of being among the elite in the critical field of healthcare.
Damian encourages J&J’s Project Managers to obtain this certification and is available to provide his perspective on the exam and studying guidance.
Congratulations to Damian Polanco for earning the prestigious CHC credential!
